Roy
Thanks Roy, Yep when I worked for TVA in the 70's and 80's I use to go the Water intake for the water supply (For the Steam Turbins) for the Gallatin steam plant (this is blocked off from the river via the skimmer wall) And catch bows and browns during my lunch break ...

Now Like I have stated before ... The Cumberland River is the coldest River in the State by the virtue it is fed by The Dale and Center Hill... That is why it is so prolific for the Bait Fish and ... what makes the Stripers so "BIG" !!! And temps under 70's will maintain Trout ... And it is under that year round a few yards in depth, ask the water skiers that ski around Gallatin when they take a nose dive and end up 10 to 20 feet below ... I have and have the tee shirts collected over the years ....

Cold !! NOW THIS IS ABOVE THE DISCHARGE OF THE PLANT This flume in the water will increase the temps by 9 degrees + warmer ... My job was instrumentaion, For water temps and Steam and boiler and turbine control and EPA emmissions out of the stacks ... I have 212 trips up the Gallatin Stacks ... <'TK><
