I was down to 6 wraps of line left on reel and grabbed the spool to either stop the fish or break it off...thankfully the striper stopped. I took about 15 minutes to get it in, 10 minutes to revive it, 10 minutes to recover, and then had a 39" striper hit my jig 2 casts later. I was hoping for a smaller one by the time MNfisher joined me.
