I'm locking this thread. Everyone's had their say. Two comments:

1. I have learned the hard way that nothing good ever comes of telling someone their fish is smaller than they think it is. I have done this before and I always regretted it. Nowadays I stick with "It is hard to judge the size of a fish from a photo" and I leave it at that. I might laugh about a bad size estimate privately with my friends, but calling out someone on the public forum always leads to the same result. If someone wants to know how big you think their fish is, they'll ask.

2. Nomad, I hope you will reconsider your decision to leave. I appreciate your input here.

This thread could have been an informative discussion on how to fish the Cumberland when it's muddy with strong current - tough conditions for sure. Instead it became a pointless argument about how big a fish was. Let's all try not to do that in the future.
