Default New stuff coming at ICAST 2012 show.

Spiderwire EZ Fluoro
Spiderwire has set its sights on making the easiest casting and limpest — yet strongest — fluorocarbon there is. EZ Fluoro is 100 percent fluorocarbon but formulated to be as abrasion resistant as possible. Its limpness is given in the construction process. Plus, it’s nearly invisible underwater.

Spiderwire Ultra Cast Invisi-Braid
Spiderwire is rolling out several new superlines, one of the most intriguing is Invisi-Braid. It’s braid to the core, but is reported to be translucent for less visibility in the water. A whitish color is said to add to the effect. It’s also made with Dyneema for smooth casting and strength.

Spiderwire Ultracast Ultimate braid
We told you that Spiderwire had been busy, and here’s what they’re calling a braided line that combines the best qualities of all desirable braids. Ultimate Braid is an 8-carrier (strand) braided line that’s said to be one of the smoothest casting lines, as well as the standard for strength. Ultimate Braid gets much of its strength from Dyneema.

Berkley NanoFil
While the product isn’t brand new (NanoFil debuted last year), what is new is the fact that the line expanded to include 12-, 14-, and 17-pound tests. This means the superline has a wider range of applications from fishing heavier jigs to worms to spinnerbaits. Previously, 10-pound-testwas the heaviest weight NanoFil available.
