"The Jumps" means when they are boiling on the surface topwater feeding, balling the bait up and slamming them. Can be anything, largemouth, white bass, striper doesn't matter. You'll see them blasting on the surface and race over there, may get lucky and get a cast or two out, then they're gone and popping up again another 200 yards away.
