4th OH crappie
Thats it! But you'll have to find me first..... look for me fishing docks with lots of shade in around 8 to10 feet of water, tight lining minnows with a 10 and 8 foot pole, depending on the ceiling height I have under the dock. Especially docks with empty boat lifts, they are like money in the bank. The hot weather and sun drive them to the shade, docks close to a drop off are prefered but I have one dock thats back at the end of the cove with no deep water around but its big and closed in on the sides and has a brush pile or two under it. The only down side is you need to keep lively minnows on the hook. I put a frozen bottle with ice in the minnow bucket to keep them lively. Another thing I've noticed is they seem to bite lighter so it would be to your benefit to have a net, I lost a bunch of nice fish not having a net with reach in the boat, more so during the summer months than the winter.
Good luck,
Ray
