Frogs on a hook
As a kid growing up in WI a uncle of mine would go "frog fishing" late in the afternoon. He would put a piece of night crawler on a small hook and work it in the catails for bull frogs, I remember him with a 5 gallon bucket full of frogs, (he had a screen on top to keep them from hopping out). I went with him one time, he would drop the bait till it just touched the water, he would bounce it lightly and within a couple minutes there would be several frogs coming for an evening meal. He would then move the bait to the biggest frogs and put it right in front of their nose and they would suck it in with their tongue. Gosh that goes way back............lol
