Thank you very much for the tip! I certainly have not done this yet, but I was considering that deeper may be the ticket. I have been fishing 8-12ft mostly. If you don't mind... when your stopped fishing vertically do you find minnows or jigs more productive? And when fishing like this do you drop anchor to hold on the spot or try and hold it with the trolling motor? Thanks!
