blr3a/ My crappie catching started increasing when I started targeting structure on or near the river channel dropoffs. I also started trusting my depth finder,threw out a marker buoy,and all i do is vertical fishing. If you get snagged in 15 to 20 ft. you know your in the ball park.This is very sloooow fishing.I also troll with bandit 200s.I rarely catch short fish with these techniques but i do not catch great numbers either.
