Dont have a boat. One day but not for now. I know Williamsport seems to be the place to go but with 3 of us fishing it can get pricey and since we have a baby on the way we are looking for something free
Dont mind a walk but cant do a hike again Im preggo.
Someone mentioned Iron Bridge so we might check that out tomorrow but Id like to see if anyone knows of any other good places to put our poles in the water!!
Thanks for the help!!

I live in Columbia and good bank fishing can be hard to come by. bd told you of a good spot..but be careful below that dam. On down from the dam is decent bank access..close to the TVA boat ramp. You can have some fun there but don't expect too many decent size fish to come from that spot. There is a place off of Bear creek Pike that has some decent fishing. It is on private land but the owner has a sign there..or used to be anyway but check at the gate for the sign...that allows you to go in. He just wants everyone to stay parked outside the gate. Coming from Columbia you would turn right at the McDonald's on Nashville highway. Go out the Bear Creek Pike about a half mile and the gate will be on your right. The gate is right across from Cheairs Circle. It is a creek that runs into the Duck River and good fish come up in that creek. Now it is not a hike to get there but it is a bit of a walk. Good luck.
