I know this method also works at Dale Hollow with Shiners.

I have not tried it on JPP, but am going to try it this winter off the mid-lake, deep rocky points.

I have caught a lot of smallmouth from Hobson Pike bridge down to Anderson road area in the past....just not in the winter.
