Kayak Bass Fishing
http://www.kayakbassfishing.com/
Kayak Bass Fishing aka KBF the Ultimate Resource in Kayak Fishing hosts online tournaments. We have monthly tournaments all year long excluding December, January, and February. There are catch photo and release tournaments where you take a picture of your fish on an approved measuring devise with a special identifier. Then you submit your fish online in the challenge. We have a Freshwater and Saltwater division. Each month first place is a kayak of your choice from Wilderness Systems. Other prizes are from Shimano, G.Loomis, Hook1, Precision Pak, Adventure Technology and more usually over $2500 in prizes a month. Each challenge you earn points toward Angler of the Year. If you are lucky enough to earn that I think you get somewhere around $15,000-$20,000 maybe more depending on how many participants there are thru the year. You can enter by the month or you can buy a Bass Pass which covers all tournaments, added discounts, and more benefits. Several months we use a smallmouth multiplier to help out the Tennessee and Northeast guys where you take your length and multiply it by 1.15, and then a couple months we use the AMI fish calculator http://www.anglingmasters.com/index.aspx?too=2003&eve=4 to help the guys in the northeast also.
There is the River Bassin Trail.

This is a live series hosted by Bass Pro Shops, Jackson Kayak, NuCanoe, Kokatat, and Bending Branches. There were about 20 stops last year two in Tennessee, two in Georgia, two in Kentucky, one or two in Alabama, and then several other states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. I see it expanding greatly in 2012 with more stops in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Kentucky. In these tournaments you are given a radius you can fish for one day it has to be a river, creek or tributary with moving water. You are allowed 3 fish and most people chose their longest. On Friday at the Captains meeting you are given an identifier and measuring devise. You can start fishing Saturday at daylight, and have to be in by 4pm or so to check in your fish.
There are many individual tournaments like Heroes on the Water, and club events around the US, and Mexico. The farthest we have traveled for a tournament was Florida, but 2012 will be my tournament, or travel year.
Tennessee Kayak Anglers

There is a new club (Tennessee Kayak Angers) that will be hosting small local events next year, more of gatherings and side bets than anything. This will be more of getting people together with similar interests and locally.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
