Being a large man...very large...I looked at them...even got to get in one that a guy I fished with over at Normandy had. It is not really a kayak and it is big....extremely stable. My concerns were putting one on top of a car by myself and also it catches a lot of wind if it is blowing a bit. It does not weigh anymore than the Jackson Coosa..as a mater of fact it weighs a little less. While it is comfortable with the optional seating I do not think it can compare to the seating in the Coosa Elite. Plus I wanted a kayak that I could just step out of...you can do that in the NuCanoe depending on the seat but it is still not as good a setup as the Coosa..IMHO. It just does not have the fishing features the Coosa has...even though there are several accessories you can buy for it. I will tell you this...it is very well made and you will not find a kayak that has better stability than the NuCanoe.
