The last two afternoons Jackie,John and I have put in at Sligo about 1pm and fished till 6pm after helping a friend with some remodeling. We have had great results fishing the deep structure with Night Crawlers. Yesterday we caught 46 Spots and a few bluegills. They were suspended 10 to 20 ft down on the steep bluffs with wood cover.. Today we fished for the spots and caught 26. We decided to troll with crank baits (15 to 25 ft.) later in the afternoon (after a quick swim) and caught 3 more spots, 4 pd. and a 4.5 pd. largemouth along with a 2.5 pound blacknose crappie. Center Hill is fishing very well if you can stand the heat during the day. Hard to beat a day of swimming some and fishing/catching more on a beautiful scenic body of water. Got more pics but I am having trouble getting them to the right size.
