Screw all you guys who get to fish this Spring while I'll be spending almost all of April in Texas for a project startup haha. Just kidding, good luck, make me jealous. There's a chance I'll get to do some flats fishing for Reds and Specks once while I'm there so I'll do my best to make it happen.

Spring will be a nice break from winter while I am waiting on late summer. :)

Alphahawk 02-11-2015 03:54 PM

Yeah I'm ready for spring. Don't kayak in winter so can't hit the GSP. The occasional 20+ inch Smallie will have to do until spring. This is going to be the spring of all springs for me. Having a kayak that is hands free should allow me to catch more fish. Having JDM UL rods much more sensitive than anything I have ever fished will get me a few more hook ups. So yes I'm ready for spring.

UH, you are allowed to wear shorts and flip flops fishing in February here in Tennessee.

GEEZ! Some people are such wussies.

One kicker for fishing in winter. No need for a cooler for my beer:p

creekcrappie 02-11-2015 06:28 PM

I can fish during the winter, but it is so much more comfortable and I get to fish shallower. Can't wait for mid-March!

I will be glad when it gets here so I can catch something else beside skippies and drum...............woody

Well.....seriously it is. You come upon a bed of Gills or a nest of crappie. When you catch one you are pulled off station and then have to paddle back to your position to cast to the marker. With a pedal drive should be able to stay on station and fish at same time. My theory anyway...LOL.
