Ready for JPP tommorow

So this afternoon I got a boat. It is a 18 ft G3 boat with a 150 Yamaha v-max. We took if out this afternoon to try it out. Me and my brother caught around 10 (no keepers). I am going out early tommorow morning for a while. So hopefully I will have a good report to post tommorow night.

Congrats on your new boat. I'm stuck driving the Blue Ridge Pkwy...yuck! I won't be able to fish until next week.

So today was a slow day but we eliminated water for the tournament Saturday. We fished all the way from stewards creek to Hong Kong, stopping in my favorite pockets. Eight fish was all we got. Two largemouths, two nice hybrids, and four white bass. On 3/8 and 1/2 ounce rattle traps. I did lose a really nice one (probably 3 lbs) right at the boat. I didn't take any fish pictures, but I did take some of the boat.

Very nice, she is pretty! What type of top end do you get out of that thing with the 150 on it?

creekcrappie 10-28-2014 02:40 PM

Mid sixties but we are still sticking around 30 just to get the hang of things.
