Gills 10/5

First off thanks Alphahawk for the cap.

It only took me 24 hrs to get it fishy. :D

Caught 5 in about 20mins of fishing. I was only checking out a crappie hole and the gills were more than willing to play.

Used 2lb test, white/glitter CM on a red head and a chartreuse TM under floats.

Pretty fish. I checked out one of my crappie holes a week ago and not there yet.

My spot has actually been enhanced a little since spring. Its a deep pocket on a creek channel that runs up against the bank for about 5 yards before swinging out. There has always been an old tree limb there but another big branch from the oak has fell. You can only fish pockets from the shore which is where i was today but a yak can easily cover the outer sections.

I have caught crappie off it for decades it seems.
