Interesting tournament day on Priest
 

I fished a tournament today out of priest. It felt good to fish again since I just got back from church camp and a mission trip. I caught these bass in about 10 feet of water on a 10 inch Go 2 Baits paddle tail worm in the plum color. I was also fishing a 3/8 ounce CJ's shaky head attached to it. The bass weighed 5.67 lbs. The interesting part of the story is a 13 pound flathead catfish that I caught on the worm. I thought I had hooked a submarine. Me and my equipment got slimed pretty good.

Winner had around 15 (I think), Second place was around 12. Big fish was 4.17. So I guess I didn't do too well.

Did you not win big fish?

Lol I almost told him I forgot to weigh my big fish.

On the hand-held scale it weighed 13 pounds. But that scale is off a bit so it could have been more. Sorry I should have included the weight in my post.

The two bass weighed 5.67 together ,,the cat was 13 ,,,neither bass would win big bass

Ahh, I thought his biggest was 5.67 and he forgot to weigh it. No longer confused.
