bluegill in a cow pond

In June of last year I stocked three bluegill from Florida into a 1/4-acre pond in the middle of a cow pasture that at the time had no fish in it. Looks like they spawned - fished it for twenty minutes today and caught these.

If there are no other fish in there to feed on the gills they will rapidly fill that pond with nothing but fish about that size.

That's the idea - these are fish I brought from Florida to raise and sell:) Although soon I will most likely transplant several to a raceway about ten miles away so they can have better water quality and I can more closely monitor their growth day to day.

Anytime you want to put a small pond in my backyard feel free. My house is on an acre so do you best with it :)

Juice, I have a couple different excavators I work with so I could definitely get you a pond dug if you want one. Feel free to send me a PM.

By the way, these aren't just any old bluegill...This is what one of the parents looked like as it was being caught in Florida a year ago.
