With three generators and a hulluva' lot of sun it was slow. I did catch three nice blues and one drum. Unfortunate for the drum, the drum was blues' bait. I am hoping of for the flood doors to open.... I am afraid we have a long time to wait.

I also fished the Caney at night on Friday, 06/27/2014 for Rocks. Had a big one on for about 3 seconds. No other bites. Exciting. A little freaky to be out there, alone, in a bank of fog, the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere.... I swore at one moment I heard a Brontosaurus walking through the woods next to the river. Sounded like tow or three trees were felled. The fog was so thick the only way I found the shore was looking at the current direction. Don't worry I was not eaten by any creatures. Brontosauruses are herbivores.

The caney is an awesome place but can get pretty butt clinching alone at night in some of those runs especially once the fog rolls in. That's why the bogeyman fishes the Obey.
