Old Hickory Lake fishing report 5/23/2014
I went back out this morning and tried that red eye shad by Strike King and all I caught was shad, it was like the shad were trying to mate with it. So I used my black lizard by Zoom and caught three small bass and missed two others. So till the next time out good luck and GOD BLESS............WOODY

Woody, I recon we take bad days with the good, i'm glad you get to fish as often as you do, I like your reports and pics, keep them coming but my friend seems like this time you found some horny shad!! lol! maybe we can use them for bait next to the horny toads!

Hahaaa... That is awesome & a funny post! But at the same time I'm sorry it didn't workout for you.
You know how it is one day a lure looks fantastic to the fish the next day the appetite changes. However looking at the size of that shad compared to the red eye, I would have made a change to something bigger as well. Great post as always Woody, ><SALTY> |

Thank you my friends I'm going back out in the morning and try again with a sexy rap and a sexy dawg and a 5" swim bait because that cove is full of shad......woody
