Normandy Dam flow increased

If it affects your plans, note that the Normandy Dam discharge has increased from 50cfs to 230cfs, and predicted to increase further, no doubt due to predicted rainfall in the watershed.

I checked it yesterday for first time in a good while, the flow had trickle down way too much IMHO so much that it left just a pool to fish directly below the dam, I hope this improves the fishing!, although I don't fish this place as much as above the dam, thanks for posting it!!

It was so low the water was becoming much warmer than it should be for this time of year. I thought the trout might start dying off. I noticed they have revised the schedule and will not release as much as they had reported.

Billy, I think that at 150 cfs you should be able to do the trip easy to hwy 269, I think is a good compromise for flow and fishability without hardly getting out to drag the yak, if I remember right lol!!!

Oh yeah you can float with that much flow.....no problems. I was hoping for the 500 CFS.....and more....hoping it would make the walleye active.

I went hoping with a good flow, it would make the fish more active. I noticed a little bit of an increase but nothing major. Hopefully this doesn't affect the trout fishing there.

You're right guys! Thankful not at 50! Have only floated it once at 500+, so it will be new to me.

Was over there this afternoon. Went thinking it was going to be 150. Didn't catch a thing.

I figure they were holding the water since from last Saturday to Wed I seen an noticeable increase in water level, man 45 cfs makes this river a creek, you can cast anything on it's widest point below the dam and it will land on the rocks on the other side, Lol!!
