I've been following that fish since it was caught.....LOL. Yes it is a toad. I read an interesting piece written by Vern Summerlin on spotted bass. In the article it stated that TWRA strongly emphasized that all spotted bass, up to what the limit as per body of water, be harvested. The reasoning was that studies show that the spotted bass diet consist of 65 percent of other sport fish. The emphasis was really stressed to harvest spots on Center Hill as it is deemed to undermine the small mouth population. I just thought that an interesting outlook that I have never heard of before.

I had never heard that before either but is an interesting line of thinking.

Supposedly there are some BIG trout in that lake as well. I have no first hand knowledge but have heard a lot about them.
