Get there just before the generators turn on and set up close to the dam. I've seen a lot of different methods here but heavy lead head buck tails with long white rubber worm trailers seem to produce well. Cast into the boil and let it sink whilst being pulled by the current. Obviously use heavy gear and heavy line. Good luck! I was raised fishing Melton Hill dam...great memories.
