Scrap jigs

Everybody has old rubber baits they haven't used and old rubber skirts that they are going to change, well don't throw them away. This also makes a great kids project that they can have fun doing and you too. All you need is a packing needle ,glue, scissors , old rubber baits and skirts and some jigs. Just cut a piece of rubber bait to size and take two pieces of old rubber skirt and put it through the needle then through the middle of the other piece of cut rubber. Then cut it off and slide it over the hook of a jig add a little glue to the jig body then push it the rest of the way and you are done. You can make great crappie jigs and have fun doing it with the kids or by your self..................woody

This idea has been around for a very long time, just like clothes pin poppers and bottle top wobblers that I made when I was a kid................woody

That's a neat idea. The ones on the bottom look like a bluegill jig I used to use tipped with a bee moth.
