Nickajack 11-06-2013
 

Arrived at Nickajack at 7:15 a.m. Caught 10 crappie in about an hour.....all good solid 12-13 inch fish. Then like a light switch a 20 plus MPH wind kicks up coming from my left to right...my day was done. Couldn't keep the Bison colored Trout Magnet even close to the depth or spot I was trying to fish. Had I got there an hour earlier would have had limit. Will hit it again Friday with nephew. This getting up at 3:00 a.m. is getting harder each year....LOL.

Nice fish! I am hoping the wind is an advantage to my fishing tonight.

I should have went to Pickwick and fished for the whites...stripers. I don't think the wind will be as bad when my nephew and I go back Friday.

Nice! I didn't have any luck on priest the past few days

Good fish Alpha. Right now they are saying very little wind for Friday and I hope they are right for once.

Well I will be ready for the wind if it comes Friday. I have a 16 and a 12 foot jigging pole that I will carry with me. Where the crappie are holding I can jig straight down for them.....that is the plan anyway...LOL.
