Caney - Before or after generation
 

Will be fishing the area just below the dam this week in a john boat with trolling motor...looks like they are generating a lot on a noon - 4pm schedule...am I better off going before generation and fishing till before noon, or fishing after 4:00 as the water drops. Will it be too shallow in the morning time before any generation? I have fished this area a lot before and after gen but am seeing what you all think is better / more productive.

If you can, get in the water right after they turn them off. Usually a good time to still get some good sized fish. With just a Jon boat, it is deep enough before they generate.
