Tough day on Caney.
 

Went to the Caney at around 1130 hours.First time there in around 6 weeks.I started off with a bang catching 8 using a Pink T M. Decided to move down stream from steps area using white and pink.Caught maybe 6 over next 1 1/2 hours.This is when I put the new color,Gainer,Orange and Gold,on a gold jig head.Nothing for 1/2 hour.Changed to a black jig head and caught 29 over next 2 hours.One was a very nice brown, one a beautiful brook,and rest Rainbows.
I used the float method only along with 2 lb SOS line and 2 lb floro leader.
Spent 4 1/2 hours having a very wonderful peaceful day.The wild flowers along the bank were so beautiful.No Eagle sighting today.
