FISH FRY AT MY HOUSE, but there's a catch
 

As many of you may or may not know we are adopting a boy from China and are well on our way to the finish line and should get him this Spring. We are doing a fundraising event with Both Hands (www.bothhandsfoundation.org) which is a really cool concept. Basically our family raises money by getting people to sponsor us and our friends to work on a widow's house for a day doing an extreme makeover kind of thing. I am having a fish fry Sunday October 13th for those who are interested in helping out with the project. We desperately need laborers to help a widow maintain her 40 acre farm in South Portland right off 109 and Scottie Park Rd. We also need people who would be willing to send sponsorship letters to their friends and family to raise money for our now $35K adoption bill. Please let me know if you are interested in helping out, and I will provide details.

I would love to help with the labor part, but unfortunately I have to work. It's an awesome thing you are doing by trying to adopt a child. There need to be more good people in this world to open their hearts, and homes to the less fortunate. My aunt and uncle adopted two girls from China more than 10 years ago, and they are so smart.

Thanks for the support guys. Just to clarify the fish fry is the informational meeting for those who want to labor/letter stuffing for those who are interested in sending out support letters (which I will provide for.you, you'll just need to bring your address book). The project itself will be an all day affair on 10/26 or 11/2 for a rain date.

Mn fisher and creeksmalliie are you able to do the 26th for the actual event as well as the fish fry?
