old hickory lake fishing report 8/24/2013
 

I went early this morning for bass and found three in the cove around the corner from lock 3 ramp. Today I had my grandson with me for the first time and I was hopeing he was going to catch something but no luck maybe next year. I caught the bass on a 6" black lizard by zoom and I was working the the deeper water like 6' to 13' and as long as there was trees on the bottom I had a good chance of hooking a bass. I tryed trolling using the bow mount set on 3 speed and as long as I could feel the bottom I would turn it on and off. If anyone wants to go with me I always have a open seat in my boat for one person and I will be going again tomorrow morning out of lock 3 ramp around 6am ......................woody
