1 Attachment(s)
Pulling out of Saunders ferry park at 545a for the early morning bite on Old Hickory Lake with Dirk aka "Fishoholic"
Water temp in the mid to upper 70's
Overcast Temp Low to mid 70s
Choice bait (Top water plugs)(crank baits-small)
White bass were schooling up the baits and busting top water like I've never seen in fresh water. Mostly in 10-20 ft of water.
Large mouth were not far from them but mostly on ledges and rock banks.
10 keeper fish today great time!
Keep your lines tight,

Sorry I wasn't as quick to post as my counterpart, but I need to fill in some details. We caught probably 25 fish total including a keeper largemouth while trolling a deep diver while we were picking up our catfish noodles which was a first for us. We had several double headers of both whites and largemouths on points and in shad boils. one school we ran up on and had controlled chaos as we picked 5 from the school on 4 rods as we landed fish and grabbed another rod to cast instead of unhooking them before the school disappeared. All keeper fish were between 14-19 inches and we ended up with a half gallon bag of fillets. Oddly enough no catfish on the noodles which was a little disapointing, but this was the first time I had put them in these spots, I;m still trying to dial that in. Sorry didn't have more pics, but it was one of the best mornings we have had ever on OH
