two best from today
So I just bought a brand-new $100 digital scale last week, and it was weighing very accurately yesterday. But then we fished this morning in a light rain, and it was way off when I tried to use it this afternoon. Would have loved to have gotten a weight on these two fish:

Those are some pigs!
Have you ever kept one? I was wondering if the fillet fried up would even fit on a dinner plate. |
Travis,
You could always make fish tacos out of them. Heck, if they were too good you could add some if the catfish you had for lunch to mellow out the deliciousness. Chris |
I keep a few of the ones under 9" each year mainly for balance, and the 9" ones produce very nice fillets. I don't keep any over 9.5" because if I did before long the ones this size would be no more.

always amazed be the size of the gills you post!

That will make a huge difference, TK! Did you get some bass in there? That's key.
