Went to Melton Hill with my dad for Father's Day. Had a few break us off but did manage to land this 23 pounder. Lots of fun and home early enough to not tick my wife off.

Thanks. I used shad. I grew up fishing Melton Hill from the bank. The discharge from the generation is easily within casting distance so shore fishing is just as effective as from a boat. After a nearly 10 year break from fishing there I have noticed some changes. I used to catch tons of skipjack...as well as every other fish imaginable on the riverside but I haven't been able to land anything but striper and drum these days. Maybe it's just me but I swear it is different now. Have any of you east tn fisherman noticed a difference?
