Pickwick Dam 7-5-12

We caught 20 of these with this 12.43 pounder being the biggest but there was no topwater bite, all were caught deep.

Well done! Were you using live bait or artificials?

Nice fish. I've been trying to learn a bit about striper fishing because my wish is to catch one but I'm not sure if they hang around this area or not. I work with a bunch of guys and only one is a fisherman and he only fishes for bass so the local info is scarce, at best

Good catch. Looks like there is a lot of action down there.
Nomad, they def swim the river through Clarksville but that may not be the best place to catch them now. Below Cheatam dam I would say would be a good place to start in hot conditions. And in colder weather I would give the Cumberland City Steam plant a try.

Thank you, sir!

All Artificial, there were some guys out in front of us throwing live bait and we only saw them catch one the whole time
