Bedford Lake 4-1-2012
 

My wife, son and I fished Bedford Lake Sunday. Caught two really nice crappie and nine good size blue gill. We found a lot of crappie on the depth finder but had a hard time figuring out what they were biting. By the time we had it figured out we had to go.
We plan on going back this Saturday and catching a lot more.
My wife caught the darker crappie in the pics and it was also the first one to be caught that day

Nice Gills. Hope to make it over there tomorrow if it doesn't storm. Is there a lot of moss in the lake?

Thanks. No there wasn't any moss at all actually. This was my first time fishing at the lake in several years. I used to catch those big blue gills every weekend, that was back when the alligator was still there.
