It is about 4-5ft deep, problem is there are too many logs and stuff like that blocking passage for wading or canoe. There are a few short lengths that you can use. They kind of frown upon wading at Gregory Mill. There are supposed to be some nice smallies around Gregory Mill.

I fished all through Stewart Creek today in Smyrna looking for white bass, I still can't find them but there are plenty of bass and even some trout in there. Nothing big, but plentiful. I wouldn't recommend wading in there. The bottom depth is unstable and I don't think it's a safe idea. This Gregory Mill area looks interesting, I'm gonna check it out tomorrow. Did you go there yet? If so, have any luck?
