I don't think so. Did you get it by private message? If so, send me a PM and identify the sender, and I'll ban them.

I got that same thing yesterday in my pm box. I just deleted it

Whasetags has been banned.

If any new accounts pop up and start spamming by IM, let me know and I'll clear them out too.

For future reference, any time you get a spam message in your PM box, give me a heads-up and I'll ban the sender immediately.

We keep a close eye on the public posts on the forum, but it seems to be a growing tactic for the spamming "bots" to generate an account that sends spam to members only by PM rather than in forum posts. That makes it harder for the moderators to spot the spammers and remove them.
