Nickajack tailwaters

Has anyone recently fished the tailwaters at Nickajack? I've been thinking about fishing there and would appreciate any reports or advice. Thanks!

Set out jugs there last week. Caught 23 nice catfish. We are going soon, Wednesday I hope, and fish for catfish with rods.

We have been going and was catching alot till the front came through this weekend.From the dam to the bridge has been good.We had one Big one last Wen.Drum are thick below the dam.Sometimes it gets hard to catch anything but drum.They hit as soon as you get your bait in the water.
