Stones River First Week of June
 

Been fishing and exploring the stones around Smyrna due to its proximity and the pleasure boaters on the main lake. I have also took this time to learn how to fish plastics since I am more of a power presentation angler.

Caught the cat fish and bigger bass on a blue and white chatterbait with a white craw chunk trailer. All others were caught on a shaky head and zoom trick worm in pumpkinseed dragged and hopped around rock ledges.

Big fish measured 18 inches. I had another 18-20 incher that jumped out of the boat before I could get a picture that was also caught on the chatterbait.

Good to see some big boys in there. I fish the stones in Smyrna a lot but haven't had much luck on Bass larger than 9 inches

thats an ugly damn catfish!
