From twra Bluegill can be taken on worms and crickets. Look for bluegill beds in shallow water. Catfish can be taken on worms and liver in May through November. Crappie are usually found close to the bank during late April and early May spawning time. Try bass fishing early and late during warm weather near any type of cover. |

Like most of the TWRA managed lakes it has a good population of quality bluegill as well. I always liked it when I was living close to Nashville. Its not far out of town, but you feel like you are way out in the country when there.

Yea I just didn't know if there was a good area to catch catfish at

I have used chicken liver bank fishing behind the store and caught several with my boys. Nothing huge but kept the boys interested.

One of my son and his buddies Favorite Catfish holes for jugging in the daytime(you can easily get sunburned,lol)...and yes there are some BIG CATS in there..Use liver or shrimp and hang on! Good luck!

Cat fishing there is great shrimp was a big hit good hardy dose of garlic powder. Let them sit over night or day time in the hot sun heavy rod big ole hook and let the games begin . do you have to pay there still?

I was just wondering if any area was better then others should I be fishing bottem or using a slip cork
