Ready for spring

Finally got me a new kayak. It is also my first. I look forward to putting it to good use this spring and beyond.

Congrats!
I did the same just about a week ago.
Ready to get in on the water myself.

Got mine about a year ago and have had a blast fishing with it.

Maiden voyage today. Just a practice run. Did throw a panther martin spinner a few times just to get a feel for how the fishing would be like from the yak, but mostly just paddled up and down the creek.

Congrats on the new kayak. What model of the feel free is it? I have a buddy that just picked up the Feel Free Lure 11.5 and it is a nice ride.

SWEET! Congrats on the new boat! Short sleeves in the pic.... wasn't it a bit chilly? Glad to see you have a PFD on!

Thanks...Yes it was a bit chilly but the sun was beaming so it wasn't too bad. No way am I gonna get in a kayak for the first time with no PFD, even though the little creek I was in is probably no deeper than 5 feet. Always better to be safe, its not that bad wearing one.
