Where to fish

Looking for small lakes to fidh tommorow in a canoe. I was thinking Williamsport, but what lake? And what structure should I be fishing? Keep in mind I don't have a fish finder for that last question.

Not a lot of structure in the lakes at Williamsport. I assume you are looking for bass....but don't know. Blue Cat and Shellcracker both have trophy bass.....huge populations of crappie and Gills. I would put in at Blue Cat and fish the whole length of the dam about 20-30 feet out. Then in the first cove from the dam there are some lay downs. The second cove....fish the bank on right going into cove. Usually holds fish this time of year.

How about Long Hunter? My dad wants to go there because we are about five minutes away, but I always hear of people getting skunked there, us included. Any tips?

I can give you an old Depth finder if you want it!
