Cumberland Flatheads

I have a kayak and I was thinking of using it to go along shore and anchor up on log jams . Is the Cleeces Ferry area any good for Flatheads and has anyone tried something like this?

Not a lot of cat guys on this site. Several of my buds fish the Cumberland River Catfih Trail. A couple times of year they leave out of Ashland City. Several of the guys always head toward Cleeces Ferry/Nashville

I fished a lot for flatheads but never fished Cleeces Ferry. I live in Hartsville so I have fished that area of the Cumberland the most. Always fished at night and I usually fished the mouth of creeks. I personally hate fishing logjams, lost to many fish to those darn things. Flatheads are always gonna head up the creeks at night to feed so I just always like to catch them on the way in and when they come out..
