Persistance...
 

Finally paid off this morning down at the Caney Fork. I was fishing below the dam when my nickel daredevil spoon got hammered hard. It was one of those Tellico trophies(it had a tag on its right pectoral fin)..Wish I woulda thought to take better measurements and pics but it is what it is..This is my personal best trout so far..It had to be well over 20 inches.. It was one hell of a battle to land this fish, he made several runs peeling off line..In the end I got him in, wore him out good. Didn't want to keep him out the water too long, so took a few pics and successfully released him back to the river. If you look close in the first pic you can see the tag.

That's a beauty.. nice going. That would have made a nice meal :)
But it is a nice feeling to release 'em too.
