My new ride
I've ordered my guide boat for this year. It's a 24ft 2016 Sea Ark Big Easy. Unlike center console boats this beauty has comfortable seating for up 8 clients and a large Bimini top for shade and cover. The over all quality and diversity of this craft makes it the ultimate guide boat. I was very happy with Stuart and the folks at Clark Marine in Franklin Tn.

Congrats! I saw one of those at Clark Marine back in the summer....pretty impressive.

We saw one of those at the boat show Saturday, very interesting concept. Kinda like a Deck Boat meets Pontoon. Congratulations, I'm sure it will host many happy clients.

Awesome boat. Look forward to seeing it on the water!

Thanks fellas, I can't remember being so excited about something.
Jeremy, the one at the show was the 20ft easy, a very nice boat. This is the larger version. This one has seating for four more plus a 60 live well as opposed yo an 18 gal. plus a much larger rear fighting deck. |
me,the wife and kids will look good in that with sum big walleye!!! Looks like a great investment

Very nice! 24 feet of fish magnet client pleasing water breathing monster.

Very nice boat. I saw them at Clark Marine a couple of weeks ago. If I were buying a new boat today for striper fishing, it would be a SeaArk deck boat. I have dealt with Clark Marine (and Stuart) for many years. It is a first class operation. I have them do all of my service work on the rig, in fact it is being worked on there right now. In the process of re-powering with 200 Verado from Clark Marine (engine is back-ordered right now).

Thanks guys. JK, can I use that?
Aero, it has been the best experience. No one could come close to their price. I'm very impressed. Http://trolldhl.com |
I like the Sea Ark boats. I had an 1860 and it was huge. I could put a pop tent in the center, I love an open boat. I hit a wave in mine about 55mph and went airborne, I doubt you will be doing that though. The first thing I did was rewire it though, I want to say I had near 87 connectors for a simple john rig Sea Ark is very bad about electronic interference with production line builds. It was a snap to pull new wire though as Sea Ark runs pvc for wire looms, so no worry in that department. I was going to get the 20, however the 18 was as big as I needed....I can only imagine the 24. I saw where it was developed for milspec ops so you should be very happy, the customers will be even more thrilled as there was literally no way to tip that platform and it would tread in inches of water and it is always on full plane even sitting still.

I saw a guy at the Holiday Landing boat ramp last summer with an open 24 foot SeaArk and it looked like a barge! |

Sweet boat Dave.
If I can get my junk together this year, we need to hook up again. Dad's up 1-0 in the mooskie score. :D |
Hey Travis, I was wondering where you've been. I hope his recovery is complete. Tell him I said hello.
