Another Striper/Hybrid Video from Tims Ford
This video was created mid-September. I have been a little slow doing the editing. I made the mistake of turning on the camera at the beginning of the trip and turning it off at the end. It takes a lot of time to find the scenes that will be part of the final video. I normally turn the camera on when a fish hits and turn it off after the fish is landed. Makes editing muuuuuuuuuch easier.
The gentleman fishing with the is Roy Cannon, Sr. His son is a TWRA officer and at the time was my next door neighbor. Roy wanted to learn how to catch Stripers and Hybrids on Tims Ford. We started at daybreak catching live shad with a Deep Hole cast net and during the day we trolled the "Spread" system (with Tadpoles), Urigs, and finally with live bait. Urigs produced the best though we caught good fish on all three techniques. Here is the link to the video: https://youtu.be/DLt-V_Lkt2k We had a GREAT day on on the lake! |
You guys were killing it! How do you think all the rain last night will effect Tims for Saturday fishing?

Lmao....ive gotta ask:
Do you ever see other guys fishing when your out there and if so, do they compare to your catches or do they just troll by with amazed looks on thier face? Youve got it figured out man! congrats on the success and great video! |
I have witnessed the man in action, even fishing the same large school. I am content with running two rods on downrigger or adding a couple of more on planer boards max. We would catch one or two per pass, where Aero would hook four or five.

Great video! I really enjoy catching fish "pulling" more than trolling. you get a chance to really fight the fish, rather than dragging it at 2-3 mph.
But don't get me wrong I'll drag em all day long if that is what works! |
Great video Bob.
