Very nice Rainbow! How difficult is it fishing with the sluice putting out that much water?

I have never known anyone to fish the Pond when the sluice is going full force. It's a good way to get killed. I am sure he will respond but my guess is he took that pic right before the sluice went off or he had just pulled out before it came on and he took a pic then.

Sluice

I was out before the sluice
Can't fish in boat when open
Back flow and currents deadly
