Old Hickory Report

Went out to Lock 4 Thursday evening fished from 5pm to 1:30am. Caught lots of white bass, juvenile stripers in the 10" range, and some big skipjack, all these fish were shallow. Water temps were 74 - 75 degrees, much cooler than Priest last week. Lots of bait all over. We got rained on for about 30 minutes, but the bad stuff stayed south of us, and moved off to the east. Very few green bass were caught and what was caught were small. Not much action after 9pm.

That sounds like a trip tailor made for me...LOL. Whites and juvenile striper are pure heaven on 2# test and an UL.

That's what I ended up doing. I had both Volkey rods with a Pixy, and Aldebaran spooled with 6lb test and had a ball.

Congrats.....I know that was a ball.
