Mayflies

Wading Priest Friday eve and got caught up in a mayfly hatch. Anyone see hatchlings happening elsewhere?

Itty bitty May flies.

Yes Old Hickory lake around Mt. Juliet/ Old Hickory area has 1/2" Black May Flies hatching.

Seen a few surface smacks so the bite is on.

Can you use them as bait?

Yes if you can get some. A mayfly hatch on KY Lake is something to behold.....kill some big Gills when it is going on.

they are all over my place in Hermitage down near 7 Points. There were about 30 bouncing off my garage door last nite due to the light about the door...
