New PB 8lb 13oz


Wild day, no fish from 6am until 330pm then ended up with 7 total and a 24.5lb bag , to top the day off I went to weigh this fish and the battery in my scale died, we guessed the weight at about 7 to 7 and a half , right before we left my buddy asked another boat if they had scales , guy comes over with scales and my buddy recognizes him as Aaron Lewis, the lead singer of the band Staind , so the lead singer of Staind weighed my fish, he had what looked like a professional set of scales and I was stunned to see she weighed over 8lbs , the fish at the Chick are eating healthy , every fish we caught looked like a football

BTW caught every fish on 3.5" suicide shad on a 1/4oz scrounger head

Thanks man, funny thing is I didn't find out who he was until after we pulled away, my buddy recognized him , I thought it was someone he personally knew cause he called him by his name, afterwards he told me he was the lead singer of the band Staind, heard he sings country now , seemed like a nice enough guy

I did notice the girl had with him was smoking hot lol

I never heard of Aaron Lewis until now. I checked out a couple of his uTube videos and he's pretty good.

I never knew who he was but heard of the band Staind, they had a lot of hits


After looking up pics of his wife I know that chick he was with wasn't his wife lol

The wife was probably shopping, spending the royalty checks.. ;)

Awesome fish... I'd love to go down there and catch one like that, I'm hoping to make a few trips down there in the next year. Haven't fished Chick in over a year.
